Wednesday, February 03, 2010 National Signing Day Today is National Signing Day, the day that high school athletes sign letters of intent to attend the college of their choice. If you are a high school athlete, you need to make sure you have the necessary number of credits and passing grades to play NCAA sports. Check with your guidance counselor, and if he or she determines you need more credits, the American School's Independent Study program can help. Our Independent Study program is like a year-round summer school. You can enroll any time, complete your work within a year, and potentially graduate on time with your class. Doing so helps preserve your NCAA eligibility. Over the years the American School has helped several high-profile recruits pass high school and attend college, and we'd like to help you as well. Check out the Independent Study portion of our Web site for more information. |
