American School of Correspondence Blog
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 You'll Flip For Us It's January 19, and gymanst Shawn Johnson turns 18 years old today. Shawn burst on the scene in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the balance beam and three silver medals, including one in the team competition. She then appeared on Dancing With The Stars and took home the title there too. Shawn is currently a student at a local high school in her hometown, but if you have similar talents that take you on the road for extended periods of time, whether for athletics or entertainment purposes, then consider earning your high school diploma through the American School. Our curriculum is portable. You can take your books, study guides and other materials anywhere and simply mail us your exams when you have finished them. If your training schedule requires you to work during the school day, you can complete your schoolwork at other times of the day which might be more convenient for you. Take a look around the rest of our site and read descriptions of the 70 courses you can take after you become an American School student. If you're ready to enroll, you can do so online with a credit card and we'll process your application the same day. We guarantee you'll flip for us! |
